Humboldt Electric awarded contract for Redvers nursing home facility
Long term care residents in Redvers will benefit from a more patient and family focused approach when the nursing home addition to the Redvers Health Centre is completed in 2013. The existing nursing home wing will be converted into offices, meeting rooms, and some storage.

Humboldt Electric to handle electrical work on third stage of Loblaws distribution centre
The third stage of the distribution centre includes a 120,000 square foot deep freeze. The completed distribution centre will serve all Loblaw stores in Western Canada. The distribution centre is expected to employ 750 people within two years and as many as 1,500 by 2017.

Humboldt Electric awarded contract for new Conexus Credit Union in Saskatoon
This will be the second branch for Conexus in Saskatoon, located at 2105, 8th Street East. The new branch is expected to open in early 2012 and will provide a prime location for Conexus to serve Saskatoon.

Humboldt Electric to handle electrical work on new generator for the Regional Psychiatric Centre in Saskatoon
The Regional Psychiatric Centre is a custodial forensic psychiatry facility with multiple security levels, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It opened in 1978 and can accommodate up to 194 inmates.

Humboldt Electric working on Station 20 West grocery store on 20th Street in Saskatoon
The new neighbourhood grocery store, called Good Food Junction, is part of a community renewal project and will include a full service food store, green spaces, an open air stage, subsidized housing, a branch library, and a community enterprise centre.

One of Humboldt Electric's own wins gold at Youth World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu championship
Humboldt Electric Office Administrator Alicia Mascho-Verbeke is proud to say that her 12 year old son Simon won gold in the Youth World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, held in California in June of 2011.

In keeping with the past few years Humboldt Electric has once again signed on as a major sponsor for this worthy cause. Humboldt Electric was a Power Hour Sponsor this year as part of the 2011 Children's Hospital Radiothon, held February 2 to 4, 2011.

Humboldt Electric awarded design-build contract for new Acklands-Grainger distribution centre
Acklands-Grainger is building a 117,000 square foot distribution centre in Saskatoon, located in the Marquis Industrial Park. The new facility will replace the company's existing distribution centre on Quebec Avenue.

The new Arcola Community School will incorporate earth-friendly design features and will meet LEED Silver Certification standards. The school will feature a green roof, natural light, and even a vegetable and herb garden.
