Humboldt Electric working on Regina's 'Green' Arcola Community School

The new Arcola Community School will incorporate earth-friendly design features and will meet LEED Silver Certification standards. The school will feature a green roof, natural light, and even a vegetable and herb garden.

The school will support Pre-kindergarten to Grade 8 instruction and is designed to support Regina Public Schools' focus on Structural Innovation and 21st Century Learning.

Notable features will include an atrium, community nutrition room, media and resource centre and a space developed specifically for the Centre for the Visually Impaired that supports students from all Regina school divisions.

Humboldt Electric will handle all the electrical work for the Arcola Community School, with a total electrical budget of $1.5 million.
