New STC Bus Terminal and head office in Regina
Humboldt Electric has been awarded the contract
for electrical work on the new STC Bus Terminal and head office
in Regina.
The new $25.5 million facility will have three
levels. The main floor will contain a restaurant, ticket counter,
express counter, and shipping services. The STC head office will
occupy the second and third floors. The building will exceed national
standards on energy efficiency and will be 100 percent accessible
to people with disabilities.

About one hundred employees will work out of
the facility. It is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2007, and
will handle an estimated 200,000 passengers each year.
Humboldt Electric is handling the complete electrical
contract, with a budget of $1.6 million.
