Construction on Centennial Collegiate in Saskatoon
Humboldt Electric is handling all the electrical
work for the new Centennial Collegiate being built in Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan.
The new, two-storey facility will include a
performing arts theatre, resource room, large gymnasium, practical
arts labs and classrooms, science labs and a common area for students.
The school will open its doors to grade 9 and 10 students in 2006
and the core of the school is designed for a peak capacity of
approximately 1,000 students.

Centennial Collegiate will be the first school
in Saskatoon that is part of an Integrated Community Centre. The
Saskatoon Public School Division is partnering with the City of
Saskatoon and the local soccer association in the construction
of this joint-use facility.
Humboldt Electric is handling the complete electrical
contract, with a budget of $1.6 million.
