Humboldt Electric provides the highest quality services in commercial, industrial and residential wiring, computer and telephone cabling, fibre optics, and design/build projects. Our service department provides 24 hour emergency service and is comprised of experienced and dedicated people who can answer our customer's questions and solve their service issues.

Our staff ranges up to 100 people in peak construction periods, with a fleet of over 20 trucks serving the entire province. The staff is split between Saskatoon and Regina. The experience of our employees ranges from journeymen with 35 years on down to new apprentices.

We work hard to stay at the forefront of technological advances, and we keep up with new developments in the industry. Our company strives to maintain and create key business relationships with suppliers and others in the industry to ensure that we are aware of the newest products, services, and technologies available. This allows us to pass our expertise and experience on to our customers, giving Humboldt Electric a serious competitive advantage.

Humboldt Electric is a certified data cabling company for the installation, design, and maintenance of data cabling. We are also certified in fiber optic design, installation, and maintenance. As a company we have earned the Certificate of Recognition from the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association.

We are actively involved in the Saskatchewan apprenticeship program for electrical journeymen, often hiring graduates who want to work towards journeyman status. We also participate in career fairs and workshops to round out our recruiting efforts. We understand that the quality of our people translates directly to the high quality of work we provide to our customers.

Humboldt Electric is active in many industry and business associations. Our President, Darren McConnell, represents the electrical industry as a Director for the Saskatoon Construction Association, board member of the Industry Education Council, and sits on the Bid Depository/Review Committees. Our Vice President, Glen Gerow, is a past president of the Electrical Contractors Association of Saskatchewan, Director for the Saskatchewan Construction Association, and is the past president of the Saskatoon Electrical Contractors Association.
